I had a hospital appt today, I wore an FFP3 mask. I was seen by two nurses both of which immediately offered to wear a mask if I would prefer it. Also refreshing. Obviously, it would be better if they wore them anyway, but this was a step in the right direction.

The take-home message from this study is clear: long COVID is here to stay, even in children, and can be exacerbated by reinfections and sustained by high viral circulation. Governments, health-care systems, and funding bodies must act now by prioritising long COVID as a major medical and research focus, enabling access to care, and ensuring children are not left behind. Without decisive action, the long-term societal cost of long COVID will continue to rise.

Trump wants to be king of the world. If he can get total control of the US army & subjugate the country, he will then turn to Canada, Mexico & Greenland, and who knows after that. People like Trump always want more, it’s about exerting their will over others, about the power.

Yes. A few simple measures could make a huge difference, it just takes the will to act. Inaction = poor leadership, at all levels. Thankfully, some states are taking matters into their own hands now. I hope more follow their lead.
