yess it always bugged me that there was clearly more to chara than how the fandom presented them and im glad toby fox has been pressing more and more that they were literally just a kid too, just like asriel. they just had been through something bad that made them lash out and act the way they did

it probably wont be for everyone especially if youre going in expecting like a high intensity “apocalyptic” scenario the director is known for (the hunger games) but i adored it. its a lot of “just guys walking and talking” but it didnt ever feel like it was dragging on or rushing the story

also regardless i still think $120 a year is way too much to have online services on the video game console you already spent a shitload of money on. nintendo is a greedy corporation too but at least their basic online service is still only $20 per year.

unless you dont do ANYTHING but play games in your free time i doubt youd even play enough of the available free games to play more than the cost of the online services. i play games frequently after work and whatever and i still finish maybe 1-2 a year lol
