These snowshape maker things are great; we never seem to get more than a dusting of snow here, but they seem to keep the kids happy (to be fair, I like using them too). The resulting creations are about 10cm tall at most - we just gathered snow from the top of the car. Small scale snow fun!

Took Heidi on a light trail, her personal highlights were seeing a real cat (worth the entrance fee alone, in her opinion) and being given an enormous bratwurst (almost bigger than her body) for free. We let her have a quarter of it; she probably felt we were underestimating her. #dogsofbluesky
