Lissen— my town north of Chicago is AWASH in bakeries and boba cafes (which is why I live here, duh) but I can only support the economy of so many! How many croissants can I even sustainably eat in a year!?

With everything, I’d almost forgotten to feel angry and sad about when I was pregnant and in pain and under constant scrutiny and judgement. Got me! Back to being angry and sad about that, too! Add it to the list!

(Neurodivergence is beautiful and pregnant people can take acetaminophen, ya dopes!)

This past weekend was our local Evanston Folk Fest— a gorgeous time by the lake with friends and great tunes. Tons of amazing artists, but my faves were @tuneyards.bsky.social and Loudon Wainrwright III. Special guest: cool moon over Lake Michigan.
