I kinda liked the crossover, and I haven't watched Lower Decks. The musical I hated, but I don't mind the attempt.

I already forget what happened.

I thought the opposite until the third season.

I was also just reminiscing about not understanding a single panel or word.

I remember when JKR did her first "burning trans research didn't happen" Tweet and someone straight up responded to the argument with "Nazi Germany didn't care about gender roles."

I will not assume anything, but man does that not inspire confidence. SNW having a really bad third season doesn't help there.

I honestly don't think Nuzzi would have or could have changed anything. But that doesn't mean she's not super unethical.

Her pink Gucci stilettos. That's very important I bet.

Instead, the U.S. should make pardons & clemency more frequent, accessible, and fair.

A good place to start would be passing @pressley.house.gov's FIX Clemency Act, which would create greater transparency and protect applicants from greater prosecution:

The United States Constitution vests the President with clemency power, but Congress created a process for reviewing clemency applications that...

Pardoning friends and allies, while ignoring nearly everyone else, isn’t just bad optics. It undermines public confidence in the process and can result in skepticism of future pardon decisions.

But the answer to this isn't to make pardons more inaccessible.

Meanwhile, roughly 10,000 people have filed petitions for pardons or commutations at the federal level just this year.

It should go without saying, but people should not need a connection to the president to have a shot at a pardon.

My understanding of the Huntington's thing was as you say, I think the scientists basically said it doesn't cure it, it just to pushes it back far enough that you're going to die of something else first (since Huntington's already trends to hit at like 50, 50?).

I did know about sickle cell, yes. There are lots of fascinating things like that. But I'm still thinking of stuff like trisomy 18 and others. All they do is kill you quickly. I get unforseen consequences of gene fiddling, but there are things dire enough that they should try.

That clarifies that, thank you. I guess that treatment is going to racing directly against increased human lifespans.
