Boy does this irredeemable politician as comic relief character work better than Michelle Yeoh in Star Trek: Discovery, though. The show let her off the hook shockingly quickly. So she didn't work, but she was entertaining and charismatic, so once she left, Discovery was even more of a dour slog.
Londo, you're a delight, and also you kind of can't be redeemed.
Ok, our heroes' use of the telepaths as weapons does seem incredibly unethical. Extra whose only line is pouting that out -- to the doctor, no less -- is correct. Is it better or worse than Sisko and the stuff he can live with, though?

I know the racism doesn't care and it's not the main point, but Omar has lived in the United States since she was 13, thirty years ago. She became a citizen when she was 17, twenty five years ago. She's an American by law but also just substantively, she's spent her entire adult life as an American.
