Art should be made by real people. I'm not good at drawing art myself, but that's all the more reason I respect artists who have worked to get good at it!
The one Switch game I played for myself last year, for the record:

This is in a tv show from the early 90s and... huh???

Hmm. Highly unlikely, given personal circumstances.

That's extremely gross. I just noticed YouTube giving me buttons to auto-reply to a comment using words that I didn't write. Really speedrunning the erasure of sincerity and personal connection there. As if that weren't bad enough, some of these pre-written replies can even be AI-generated.

Absolutely incredible

My Steam Replay this year. Bloodstained there was from me playing Classic Mode and the Dominique's Curse DLC. Deltarune is the highest % because I played it three times to explore different outcomes including replays of chapters 1&2, and I also screenshared the new chapters for two separate people.

I played through a Super Mario World rom hack with custom graphics, and look at these boos, I love them

Spoilers for a 15 year old DS game that not many people played. I will add that before the ending I felt like this game was okay but had some wasted potential, then the ending hit and just made things way worse.

Thinking about when I made a map of the desert in Paper Mario as a kid, and my favorite part of it was always just this little mouse fella

Some (not all) people on YouTube have found "restricted mode" turned on without their consent, so it's probably worth clicking on your profile icon and double checking the setting for yourself!

Oof, this is the smallest amount I've yet seen in there! But I'm okay, I have food and I'll have more money in time for upcoming bills.

I guess I'm just stuck on a nostalgia train right now. Started up Final Fantasy IV as my next game to play but decided to choose the SNES version over the PSP, Pixel Remaster, or 3D versions. (With the Namingway Edition patch for a better experience though, cause the early 90s localization is rough)

I almost beat this game 20 or so years ago but failed right at the end, then kind of gave up and just played other games instead. Glad I finally revisited it and beat it this time! I always liked this game even though I hadn't finished it. Maybe I should check out more of the Goemon series sometime.

I actually really like this particular crt filter I started using, especially for a horror game where the darker tones feel more atmospheric.

LOL thanks game (I got a bad ending)

Stories of Ihatovo was a SNES game I had been meaning to look at for like a year, but I had another one that I'm now starting: Otogirisou! It's arguably Chunsoft's first visual novel and is considered to have had a notable influence on the genre. I think the main theme song kinda rules too.

It's a short game that I was able to manage in one session even without a guide. The story plays out as an anthology, with 9 chapters that tell largely self-contained bite size stories in and around the town, some of which feel like folk tales. I especially liked befriending the foxes in the winter!

Oh! Sounds like fun

This reminded me that I bookmarked a video that had a short section talking about settings to help with the lag for that collection in the nightly build of the emulator. I never did get around to trying it myself, but I wonder if it would make any difference for you.
