If the goal is to keep us safe, this isn’t it. No one is safe from the abuse of power we’re seeing-- not when ICE agents are violently going after working people, even U.S. citizens.

When Huerta says “We are a power”

He means the farmworker, the janitor, the nurse, the home care provider. The workers.
And he’s right.

You can’t detain a movement.

Strongly denounce the violence inflicted on our communities through federal enforcement raids & the criminalization of our communities. These actions of terrorizing our communities have no place in a just society. We demand an immediate end to all ICE raids & call for the immediate release of David!
Our thoughts are with all those impacted by recent immigration enforcement activity that brutalized our LA community. 🙏🏾❤️

Immigrant workers are essential to the success of our economy! CA CRE market, valued at over $500bn, is one of the largest. Janitors play a critical role! Let’s stand in solidarity & lift up their contributions that impact the success of so many critical industries occupying commercial spaces.

In these challenging times, when the weight of adversity feels unbearable, remember this: you are not alone. Together, we form an unbreakable force, capable of turning the tide. Unity is our strength. The arc of justice is long, but it always bends when we stand together and refuse to give up!!!
