There are plenty of strikers who can finish well, but never get the chance to prove it because they struggle to consistently get into the right positions. Unfortunately, that is where we are at the moment.

His main strengths were — and still are — powerful channel runs and ball-carrying that lead to high-quality shots. While he doesn’t look slow, he no longer has the clear pace mismatch he enjoyed in Portugal, which allowed him to fully showcase his finishing.

Doubt it. Unfortunately I think Mikel has dropped the ball. Limiting to purely deputy 10 minutes wasn't the play.
