It's been a good year for films, and I agree that this is the best of many great films this year.

I like a lot of it and I LOVE the characters and their interactions / chemistry with one another. For all of the moaning about Rey being boring, she was far more fun than Luke.
I just strongly disliked the Palpatine stuff in IX. Everything else? Wonderful!

As a suffering Rockies fan, I just think, "What am I missing here. This has to be bad, in some way, shape, or form, because everything they do is bad."

I don't even like them, as movies, all that much but I LOVE the experience of seeing Avatar movies in 3D in the theater, stoned! Just an all around good time, even if I never watch them again.

Agreed. I disagree with a lot of QT'S opinions but I always love his output.
I also enjoy his unique personality, but that doesn't mean he doesn't put his foot in his mouth, from time to time.
