Did exactly the same thing last weekend for my daughter. Had to collect a new one from the letting agent then found 4 more sitting in a cupboard…
Moved son into student rental house. Router had been left. Called company. "No, we have to send you a new one". Opened cupboard. There were 10 more piled up in there.
