Good morning. I (Cecil) wanted to share that I plan to start posting old art as major progress is being made on Lone Thicket Case Files!

I also thought I'd share some peaks at recent art in the meantime until the next post.

Posting Plans for Lunar Mycena Good morning/afternoon/evening. As I (Cecil) make progress on art as well as actual game development, starts soon. I will start sharing some old art and concepts for Lone Thicket Case Files. I will try post once or twice a week as time allows. I want the old art to eventually lead into the new stuff and into snippets of the game’s development. The original plan for the game to be a visual novel / point-n-click game has also shifted into it being a PSX / Retro 3D game. So big changes are head to this series! I will share this little peak though, so you aren’t left waiting for the next post for some art. ;) _________________________________________________________________________ After the text is a series of 3 cropped images here are the descriptions of each. The top cropped image shows from the nose to the mid chest of a black woman with dark tiger stripes visible on her face and neck. Orange curly hair is partially seen. Howdy folks was in another car accident because other people don’t know how to freaking drive and this time I ended up with a fractured wrist so there’s not gonna be a lot that I can really do right now which really sucks because I have a bunch of projects I’m gonna work on.

He’s one of the main characters of the series and a good contrast to Cedars dark and cold appearance. I would like to note that Dex has gotten a bit of a redesign since these pieces, so these are outdated. Both sketches have expressions from Capochiino’s “I’m so f***ing done 2” expression meme. I find these expression memes to be a fun exercise and helps me branch out from my default expressions. It’s also a good way to explore ways a character may express themselves. Image Text: This is the first proper sketch I did of Dex. The expression used for this one is B1. While Cedar appears rather cold and has a dark color palette, Dex is brightly colored and warm. He’s loud and extraverted and will gladly voice his opinion. He is looking up and his eyebrows are arched. He has his cheeks puffed out as he looks rather annoyed. His left his placed on his hip. He has short blonde hair with a small ponytail. His right arm is across his chest. He has piercing blue eyes and matching blue fungi can be somewhat be seen peeking out from beneath his hand on the right side of his face. Some of the bosses in Witches and Butchers will be fought in "platformer mode" where you can double jump, jump off walls and only use a character at the time, pressing select to alternate between them.

One of the tiger men, Lune, is tensing up in surprise from his sitting position in the other's, Alyx's, lap, as the latter has caught Lune's cheek in his loving bite. Whilst Alyx smirks, Lune blushes from ear to ear, the box of chocolates in his hold momentarily forgotten. However... This all turns out to be Lune's wild imagination, upon being asked by his closest friend if he has any plans for Lovateils'. In chibi form, he shakes himself out of it, furiously blushing, and burying his face in his hands, he whispers... "I... I wish..." This piece is appropriately titled A Bite of Strawberry, for Lune clothes himself in a strawberry motif within this imagination.

Posting Plans for Lunar Mycena Good morning/afternoon/evening. As I (Cecil) make progress on art as well as actual game development, starts soon. I will start sharing some old art and concepts for Lone Thicket Case Files. I will try post once or twice a week as time allows. I want the old art to eventually lead into the new stuff and into snippets of the game’s development. The original plan for the game to be a visual novel / point-n-click game has also shifted into it being a PSX / Retro 3D game. So big changes are head to this series! I will share this little peak though, so you aren’t left waiting for the next post for some art. ;) _________________________________________________________________________ After the text is a series of 3 cropped images here are the descriptions of each. The top cropped image shows from the nose to the mid chest of a black woman with dark tiger stripes visible on her face and neck. Orange curly hair is partially seen. She wears pale vaguely cream-colored button up shirt with a red tie. A spikey golden badge pinned on the left says C.P.A. along the top with a purple frog eye in the center.
