Since they quit making the blueberry redbull I stocked up. It might seem excessive but this is my favorite energy drink and it sparks joy so fuck it.

They keep ceasing production on all my favorite energy drinks. Red Bull stopped making the best one of all time when they stopped making cranberry, Monster then stopped making Assault and NOW Red Bull stopped making blueberry blue edition.

Nutritional yeast, or “nooch” is great stuff. It has an earthy cheesy scent and flavor similar to what you might find in smoked hard cheeses. It works great as a powder cheese for things like cheesy popcorn and when liquified makes a great base for Mac and cheese. A little will last and it’s cheap.

Most of the Morningstar nuggets are pretty good but their buffalo wings are are excellent. They have a bit of actual spice and a pleasant texture similar to that of McNuggets.

In my opinion, almond milk is superior to milk milk. Milk has a weird sort of sour aftertaste, weird texture and weird smell where as almond milk has a sweet aftertaste, smells nice and has a smooth texture. It works in most recipes that call for milk and is good on its own.

Fieldroast and impossible make the best vegan sausages in my opinion. If you want a really great tastes like meat sausage than go with impossible, if you are into seasonings and don’t mind a different texture than fieldroast is the way to go

If you want a GREAT vegan chicken sandwich, cover one of these in a light coat of oil and cook it in the oven. The taste and texture is fucking excellent. It works great with some morning star bacon strips and some chopped on onions and Romain lettuce.

If you want vegan chicken that nails the texture I recommend Daring. I use this stuff in my ramen and pasta all the time and it fills the roll very well. I will say the taste is a bit different but good. It will also pickup flavors you cook or marinate it in.

If you live in Seattle and want some BANGIN sushi, check out irashai sushi in west Seattle. Of anything on the vegan menu. I promise it will be wonderful and in particular the dragon roll and crunchy tuna roll will blow you away.

Morningstar corndogs are indistinguishable from meat corndogs. The first time I had one I was pretty sure I was being lied to and that I would be sick. They are cheap too.

Lightlife smart dogs are by taste and texture indistinguishable from regular hotdogs and if you think about what goes into normal hotdogs, would you rather have something less gross?

Impossible meat is so close to the real thing in texture and taste that the first few times it was served to me at restaurants I was sure they fucked up my order and that I’d be sick. As far as I’m concerned it’s basically indistinguishable from real meat in their ground beef.

Cheese is one of the hardest things to replace in a vegan diet but Chao does it quit well. It goes great on anything you can put cheese on, has the taste and texture down very close, to the cheese it mimics and otherwise is a great stand along and comes in shredded or sliced form. It’s delicious.

TVP or textured vegetable protien is a great alternative for ground beef. You can buy a big bag of it for $5 and it will last a long time, you can also sometimes buy it in bulk. It will take on whatever flavor you boil it in. I usually cook it in vegi broth with a little liquid smoke and soy sauce.

Kite hill is a great brand for dairy alternatives. In particular, their cream cheese is good. I highly recommend the one with chives if that’s your thing. It’s creamy, spreads nicely and is cheap.
