Bo Burnham's Inside is still such a vibe. It's vinyl listening day.

I think I figured out my issue with Hazbin Hotel. It's what conceptually interesting, but it's premise is extremely derivative. Generic anime fight scene, included with the blood cough!.. the redemption post-death, many religions/other media. It's not a bad show, but this season has its cracks.

I've been studying too many languages lately, my brain is fried.

So I got rid of Spotify a year ago, I buy digital. Bandcamp offers differing audio quality for free, you can download multiple times. The only problem downloading, is older artist aren't usually as easy to find on there. So other sites with no apps charge extra for quality, it's so annoying.

Crafting my own language/writing system for my story has been an experience. While I have conceptual goals & ideas of what to convey, I found there can be too many flourishes you want to add. I've been trying to balance simplicity over complexity. Something children could understand.

Peacemaker S2 is the first show in a long time that I was excited for the next episode. My criticism would be it needed more action this season & the interconnectness towards the end makes it feel less standalone. Overall excellent season, last episode was both weak but extremely interesting.

Okay, what is with youtube contemporary editing techniques... like seriously every 5 seconds they have to add a meme cutaway. I get the merge cutaway.... but now it seems excessive and even less relevant, a ploy to keep low attention spans engaged. Youtube video essays feel like a dying art.

Traveling to the east coast has reinvigorated me... to stay home lol. But in all seriousness I like my town.

King Gizzard was fantastic.

Maybe it's because I'm jaded and seen a lot of cities. New York is a city with a lot of people in it. It's not bad, it's fairly easy to navigate too. I am just not wowed by it. It has met my expectations.

Rewatching Hazbin Hotel after about a year. I don't know, it's not as good as I remember it. It's good but it feels like the novelty wears thin easily.

I see King Gizzard in less than a month... most of my digital library is KGLW (or similar) and I don't like to listen to albums by a band that I'm going to see soon. It feels special to me... this month is gonna rough.

For all the writing systems I've studied. The countless hours of letters, logograms, & syllabaries that I've researched. I still struggle with creating my own writing system. The goal is to create an alphabet that essentially functions like logograms. Much harder than I thought.

Fan theory: Mrs. Flood happens after the regeneration. That's the reason for the bigeneration. She's also the developer of it. Wanting her homeworld back to the prestige it once held, a way to split Time Lords up quicker.

My god Spotify sucks... I get why it happened, but I find physically/ digitally owning media is so much more worth it.

So I've finally had a chance to watch most of the 14-15th Doctor era Doctor Who episodes. Of course, Tennant is great as 14, but Ncuti Gatwa feels great as a Doctor, the episodes are a bit hit or miss, but he handles it well.

The new Doctor Who episode "The Story and the Engine" was a fascinating episode. An interesting premise, well executed character motivations, and few great mystery, but had a faux anthology aspect that made it feel overly long. 7/10

I don't think barring people from elected political positions based off of all those equal opportunities is the solution including age. I do think, though, those that are elected over the age of the age of retirement should only be able to serve one term after such age.
