Yeah, it's definitely flawed to all hell, but it's not the conservative hellscape people love to assume it is. It's a nice city overall. It's got its charm & community.

Then there's the influx of people moving from larger cities to here. It's one of fasted growing cities. This has caused a boom in housing demand. The council is also primarily left-leaning. Those from bigger cities tend to vote left.

Yeah, I've lived here for the last 31 years. That's not the general vibe in Spokane. The place isn't that conservative anymore. Spokane voted nearly 50% Democrat, not really "ultra," the mayor is a Democrat, the last one was voted out for far-right affiliations. Anecdotes aren't evidence.

Kind of, I think it's kind of weird in respect to Idaho. The conservatism here leans libertarian, I think it's standardizing since our mayor is now "left-leaning." The previous one, she was too right-leaning for an average person. Before her was conservative with democratic policies implemented.

Honestly, that's the experience. Central Washington is more conservative, Eastern Washington is just kind of a blend, because it's bordered all around by conservative. It's reddish just because of that, but all things considered is much more left leaning.

No, just this new round, I downloaded a bunch of their new stuff last year. Just haven't listened to this year's stuff. I just was listening to the gorge one recently. Now I'm on my self imposed ban lol

I wish I could do the same, but I don't even watch their live shows until after I see them. I did listen last week to the show I went to last year at the Gorge.
