Trans rights are being used by Christian Nationalists - aka Christofascists - as wedge issues to fracture community consensus in multiple countries. In Ireland, Enoch Burke's family are currently attacking a presidential candidate using this tactic. UK politics totally infested with it.

We've actually not looked into GP cards - we heard as recent arrivals we weren't eligible but perhaps we are now!

Be aware that each GP appointment will cost you €65, not including medications. Lots of procedures are free though, once you've got a GP referral. Also: it's still a very socially conservative Catholic country, so not necessarily easy to be a trans person in rural Ireland. Rental prices also mad!

True, AR15s do not use 'high powered' rounds. They use intermediate NATO rounds (unless of course you modify it to chamber hunting rounds). Either way though, they shoot high velocity and can cause shockwave damage.
