Added a strip down the middle made of Jarrah. I know the grain is perpendicular to the lids, but I didn't have any other boards of Jarrah wide enough. And I kind of like it, it's like a river flowing between two hills.
Still need to trim the lids, deepen the dishes a bit, and put a roundover on.

The trick or treat maze (sponsored by wizz fizz I assume, hence the wizz fizz monster fursuit, lol) was really well decorated, I'd love to do something just like it for my house for a future Halloween. Would be a huge amount of work but if I got it half as good as this one I'd be thrilled!

I was in costume (suit from Costumebox.com.au) and it was so good that I kept getting mistaken for staff, hah. I actually enjoyed wandering around pretending to sneak up on people and getting photos with people, it was just like fursuiting but without overheating! I should be a professional scarer!

Went to Luna Park Melbourne for their Luna Dark event and it was fantastically fun! I liked how they dressed up the park, the haunted house and trick or treat maze were really well decorated, and I liked the extra touches like fangs on the entrance or creepy masks on the ball clowns

Well that was quite fun! My second time carving, and first time experimenting with shallow cuts to make a shading effect! Flame on! 🎃🔥
The dremel was a great tool for this, especially with Kutzall extreme burrs. They cut pumpkin very fast (but with a lot of spray, wear goggles!)

It doesn't look big compared to my fursuit head but I could probably fit my entire actual head inside it! 7.1kg!

Got a pumpkin from Woolies at the eleventh hour. They were busy taking down the Halloween decor and bringing in all the Christmas tat when I snagged this 🎃. Only $2.50 a kilo and it still cost $17... Starting to realise how expensive it would be to make a pumpkin patch theme for my house 😱
