I love Halloween as you all know, and I loved decorating my house and having kids come up trick or treating... But the trouble is that it doesn't work in Australia. In Melbourne on October 31st the sun doesn't set until nearly 8pm. But all the parents bring their kids around starting at 5pm. 🧵

I know Kryal Castle is doing an event on Nov 1st and I'm pretty keen to check that out if I can, I've never been to the castle for Halloween and I'm super keen to see how they decorate it!

How does Costco have less Halloween items than even freaking Bunnings does? I thought they were an American superstore and would have access to all the same stuff like the 12ft skeletons. But they have two animatronics and four Disney brand pumpkins. What?? Bunnings has four animatronics! BUNNINGS!!

Australians throw away this many clothes every ten minutes.
But not me. These sweatpants have lasted 15 years, and only now that they have a huge hole in the knee am I finally cutting them up for cleaning rags.
Next I'll go to an op shop to find a "new" pair ♻️

Hot tip: When you're ordering from a new pizza place for the first time, get a medium half n half with your two favourites on it. I tried this new place and they make the worst Aussie I've ever tasted, actually inedible, but their margerita was quite good, so I still got a meal out of it, plus data!

Couldn't help myself. I can at least justify the mugs because I'm a tea drinker now and I've been needing some larger mugs for those cold days when I want an extra big tea, you know?
