From 8-14 June Pitt Rivers is hosting a Naga delegation for a visit focusing on the repatriation of Naga ancestral remains & exploring future care. The Museum holds the largest collection of Naga material in the world, much of which was collected by colonial administrators in the early 20th century.
Line of people, some wearing traditional Naga dress, standing on the lawn outside the museum.

Heading back home from a flying visit to Cambridge to comment on a chapter for @lydiawalker.bsky.social’s fascinating new book project on post-SWW interventions ☺️ Also managed to squeeze in a visit to the brilliant ‘Rise Up’ exhibition at the Fitzwilliam Museum - definitely worth a visit ✊🪧

Only recently discovered that I needed this. How I wish John Prados was still with us. Will be writing about Eisenhower, Dien Bien Phu, and the war declaration that didn't happen.
Book cover for Operation Vulture by John Prados.
