Thank you. That is much better well said. Factory farming clearly is a huge greenhouse gas a meter. And worse. I’m vegetarian but I think it is critical to always say industrial factory farming as being the problem and that goes for both animals and agriculture.

Can someone tell me how the secretary of the DOE has the power to override congressionally funded projects? Or is it an executive power? Why have congress at all? This seems like a violation of the constitution but I don’t know if does anyone know?

ANTIFA=Anti-Fascist so if you’re against antifa, then you’re for fascism. It’s pretty simple.

The Trump administration is coming for you no matter who you are if you resist their fascist authoritarian overthrow of the US Constitution.

Girl, that’s not what you said so say what you mean. Otherwise expect response from critical thinking scientists like me. I’m not saying you are racist. I’m saying the demand as you stated is colonial racist. Have a nice day.
lyndalovon.bsky.social
Oh, I’m sorry I did not see you making a distinction between white affluent crowd, and others. Many Indigenous peoples on the frontlines of climate action eat meat as part of their traditions and ecosystems. Demanding that they stop isn’t climate justice — it’s colonial and racist.

Yikes. Folks really need to distinguish between industrial animal production & small, sustainable food systems. Many Indigenous peoples on the frontlines of climate action eat meat as part of their traditions and ecosystems. Demanding that they stop isn’t climate justice — it’s colonial and racist.

Meat is a blind spot for people who care about climate. When I used to have dinner with my colleague Wally Broecker, the climate scientist who coined the term “global warming”, he would always order a steak.
The climate movement’s biggest weakness
What the climate movement is getting dead wrong.

The problem with demanding that people in the Climate movement stop eating meat is that it’s fundamentally racist and anti-indigenous. Many Indigenous people on the front lines eat meat as part of ceremony and culture. You might want to reassess that demand.

So now I’m a brainwashed fool? Go back to X with the zombies.
lyndalovon.bsky.social
Nope. It’s cowardice to not criticize and use critical thinking skills against nukes and war. Nuclear power cannot decarbonize our economy. Read my article on my sub stack bro. And I’ve been a climate action advocate longer than you so don’t presume excluding me from that group.
lyndalovon.bsky.social
Indeed. Does he have more important business to do than attack women on X? It’s absolutely psychotic.
lyndalovon.bsky.social
Yeah, that’s pretty bad. Was just gonna follow you, but I read this and it’s psychotic dude. I can’t believe you would keep this up after seeing what’s happening now.
lyndalovon.bsky.social
This is really great. I wish you could stream it on every cable channel.

McKibben rightly talks about oil’s vulnerability to drone attacks but omits nuclear power plants. Zaporizhzhia has been shelled & flooded. A reactor strike = a CATASTROPHIC dirty bomb. It’s absolutely bizarre there is not one word in this article about nukes. Why the silence, Bill? #NoNukes

You rightly talk about oil’s vulnerability to drones but it is bizarre that you skip the most fragile target of all — nuclear power plants. Zaporizhzhia has been shelled & flooded. A reactor strike = a dirty bomb. Why the silence, Bill?
Why don’t you ever criticize nuclear?

Did you not read what I said? They can charge for everything else but News is vital for citizenship and should be free. Should be free. It’s their job. It’s the fourth estate. And yes, I do volunteer work. Do you even know what that is?
lyndalovon.bsky.social
Shame on you for putting this behind a pay wall. American citizens need access to the information. You can charge for the business section, sports, fashion, arts. News should be free. Pay walls for News makes bad citizens and enables authoritarianism.

Trump is going to give weapons grade plutonium to start up nuclear companies. Why isn’t this headline news? This is an unbelievable security risk and change in nuclear policy. #NukeSky #NoNukes

This is some seriously sexist crap. This is not the way to come after him. Unless of course you’re just a misogynistic creep like he is.

Are these unknown companies having to go through environmental review? Are they just gonna set up shop and start industrial scale, processing and enrichment? WTF? Is Trump going to let them bypass environmental review?
