Great list, an ode to all I love in horror. I submit to you these possible elements, the things I love less, but can make me squirm: The gross, the visceral and the shocking.

I didn’t even realize for a while that it was a ‘one-shot’ film with no obvious cuts, and switches the protagonist multiple times. It really is fun, even though like you say, none of the protagonists are super likable.

Peacemaker is the first of the marvel/dc shows I’ve been tempted to watch for years. (Of course, it’s been out for 2 years, so we’ll see if I actually get to it…)
