Today's highlight was a visit to the nearby elephant sanctuary's Advent Spectacular. It was gloriously ramshackle and utterly charming. Camels doing pantomime was not something I ever expected to see! Also, elephants make really odd noises

The cracking breakfast from the farm shop: homemade sausage patties, bacon, fried egg, and Swiss cheese on a toasted brioche bun. It might not look like a lot of food, but blimey! It was.
