Crow (10) this morning as we started our holiday trip: Please, can we listen to Taylor Swift's Welcome to New York when we cross over into New York? That's always been a childhood dream of mine.

As a sex therapist in training, this is one of my pet peeves. Addiction in general is already a misunderstood topic; adding sex to that makes it more so.
Our society is steeped in puritanical prudishness & this is why everyone, *including* adults, needs access to comprehensive inclusive sex ed.

Turns out that Certified Sex Addiction Therapists are more likely (compared to others) to be: hetero, married, monogamous, religious and wealthy w/ higher levels of moral disapproval of porn. UnSurprisingly, they also over diagnose porn & sex addiction.

Watching my GF with over a decade of experience as a full stack dev struggle to find employment - esp in game dev, which is where she really wants to be - whilst knowing nobody cared about her experience when they thought she was a man, is enraging. And makes me feel so helpless. 😖

Welp. C1 is literally rotated. And the disc between C7 and T1 is getting pushed out the back. And my muscles are too flexible and not strong enough in my scapular region. Aka, cool things your PT tells you.
