If we cared about pediatric health in the US, and we wanted so desperately to be like “European countries”—perhaps we could start with European healthcare or gun laws.

Furthermore most modern lit fic I’ve read is just not that interesting. Like it’s not really illuminating anything about the human condition. I don’t mind mysteries in general because usually there’s a clear plot. Most of the “popular” lit fic is people being pretentious. The writing isn’t better.

That’s just real life baby dolls. I’ll take my relationship fan fiction as an escape from ::gestures wildly::
