This was a funny, light read and the audiobook was PHENOMENAL. I enjoyed the FMC so much, the banter, the inner monologue, the longing 👌🏻 I think this might be my favorite AH book yet.

I struggled for the first 45/50% of the book, but that church scene pulled me in (and it’s the only reason this is a 3 instead of 2 star read for me 😅)
Overall it lacked the witty banter, fun playful and unseriousness that Lights Out had. It could’ve been so much better.

My love for V. E. Schwab runs deep, my love for vampires runs deeper, and my love of vampire literature is cavernous. Bury Our Bones had my cup running over. Overall this was stellar and had my heart from the dedication page.

When I started this at the beginning of May I was in a reading slump after dealing with horrendous allergies. Started 7 different books in the span of two weeks, this was the one that stuck and I’m so glad it did.
It was SO fun. Audiobook was just pure joy.

This is how you do character work. It’s clever, witty, and so funny.
The characters were so well written, the dysfunctional family dynamics had me in a chokehold. They’re so bad, but so loveable. I absolutely loved this from beginning to end. Just masterfully done.

I loved this one a lot more than the second in the series but obviously nothing compares to B&B. It was a fun time, and I absolutely loved how unapologetically bad at unaliving Rose was 😂
But good god this could’ve been 4 chapters, 2 epilogues and a bonus chapter shorter.

I absolutely adored this series, and book 3 is by far the best one. It’s a silly little fun scifi time. And the witty banter was just 👌🏻
My only complaint is that the ending… wasn’t much of an ending. It leaves the door open for more but I wanted a conclusion.
