The story of Camalot from the POV of the women and filled with the dangers of hubris, religion, greed, and cults of personality.

I enjoyed this story and was able to fully immerse myself. It was a much needed respite from reality.

I didn't love this one - nothing really happens. Beginnings of a story, lacking detail, read in two short sittings. I did appreciate the humanist slant.

No Kings Day was one of the largest days of protest in US history. From deep red small towns to our largest cities, millions of people turned out to make it clear that the American people will not bow to fascism. #NoKings

I'm not usually so into thrillers, but I had to finish the series after reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The story was fascinating and held my attention. I could not put them down.

This is so disgusting.

How have I not read this before? I've watched the movies but always fell asleep, so the story was fresh. Took this on vacation and read it every spare moment. I've started on the next one.

This was a re-read for me because I couldn't remember if I'd read it before or not. I had. I enjoy See's novels, her writing style, her storytelling.

Silence is compliance.
When far too many are choosing silence, we need everyone to raise our collective voice now.

If you didn’t/couldn’t come on 4/5, show up on 4/19!

If you haven’t been protesting, start showing up!

Recently Read: The Stone Diaries by Carol Shields

The story of a woman, from her birth in 1905 to her death in 199X. Each chapter touches on a phase of her life, but only in snippets. In letters, in prose, in conversations. I enjoyed the diversity in the telling and the dichotomy of the subject.
