If the Minister for Education understands that X is violating Irish criminal law, why is the Department of Education continuing to use the platform?

Again, using X for political comms is not mandatory or legally required; a Minister could simply instruct their department to shut down the account.

😮We don't recall Ireland's high outbound tourism being acknowledged when 'economic' arguments were being used for our Government to bypass planning processes on the Dublin Airport Cap, and push for expansion of polluting aviation. Do you?

This Government is apparently willing to sacrifice a livable future for short term profit. In just the last 3 decades, Ireland's aviation emissions have grown by 500% & this Government seems hell-bent on increasing them more. We must contact our TDs & Senators & tell them to keep the passenger cap!
Appalled to hear that Minister O’Brien is attempting to push through the removal of the passenger cap at Dublin airport. It's shocking that a minister tasked with tackling climate crisis is taking steps that would massively increase the pollution causing it. www.rte.ie/news/2025/09...

This is what a more people-friendly, healthier, greener, and more sustainable Dublin could look like.

Yes, these changes might appear dramatic, but it's what we need to be doing. Every day!

Let's go!
The junction between Sir John Rogerson's Quay and the Samuel Beckett Bridge is one of the worst designed urban spaces I've ever seen.

The layout actively fosters conflict between pedestrians & cyclists, while prioritising cars above all else.

Let’s reimagine this space for people!
