A set of nested petal bowls, with some fun glaze combinations. I can get lost in the close up shot, which shows how the glazes swirled together in the heat of the kiln.

Work in progress. 3 lbs of clay, thrown on Monday, trimmed Tuesday, painted today. The vase is about 10 inches tall. Colors will change after firing - stay tuned.

Nested Petal bowls, in red, blue and pink. The underside of each bowl is matte black. Each of us has a charred, protective exterior, but inside is an explosion of beauty and color. When nested, they suggest a flower.
