The АРКТУР SSBN concept is the strongest contestant for my no 1 sub spot overtaking Pr 971/885.

Very interesting concept with СУРРОГАТ-В LUUV/-AUV and completely overhauled tail section/ propulsion, designed for the (upcoming) race to the Arctic.

Though it unfortunately might stay a concept only
Assistant to the President, Chairman of the Maritime Collegium N. Patrushev said that the Rubin Central Marine Engineering Design Bureau is actively working to create a new generation SSBN.

For the last four years Max Verstappen was unstoppable but this year, Lando Norris made it.

Is this a sign we're going to see big battles in 2026 between Max, Lando and Oscar?

Excited for the new 2026 rules and a lot of new teams/constructors joining.

"...[T]he RAF plans to deploy Voyager tankers towards the 24th and 25th of the month in order to refuel the inbound cargo aircraft."

Other intelligence sources state, that this is one of the biggest annual airlift operations stretching from Alaska to Japan and beyond

God speed!

First quality public photo of China’s trimaran semi-sub.

Second image is my sketch based on satellite imagery while it was hidden under tarps(!). Of course some differences, but I was right it is a semi-sub(!). Overall pleased how much I got right

6/ The Russian economy continues to show signs of fracturing as Russia continues to prioritize its wartime economy over stability.

Let's see if they're heading up North or maybe stopping by at Yantar for a quick visit

Note that the ROV (remote operated vehicle, a deep-sea robot) A-frame is deployed (red). It’s doing something on the seabed.

This would be very interesting.

Someone who I have not seen in quite the while

Last time VAdm Paromov and Sergey Balk limped back to Kronstadt and Lomonosov after an intensive deployment to the Med, back when Tartus was still a thing.....

Though this was already in 2023, I am certain
[1/5] According to AIS reporting, RF Navy Black Sea Fleet Barskov-class tanker Vitse-Admiral Paromov departed Kronshtadt on 17 November. With a stated destination of Cyprus (highly unlikely), it is probably heading to the Mediterranean Sea.

Interesting to see the UK in discussions with Hensoldt (for potential RC135 successor) PEGASUS.

Though the Eurohawk/ PEGASUS story has not been all that glory either.

At this point one has to wonder, whether a couple AAS birds would be a better choice (only considering the technology for a moment)

Pr 971 and Pr 885 probably one of the sleekest and most beautiful designs for submarines in my opinion.
