Tropical Storm #Chantal is moving toward a Sunday morning South Carolina landfall.

The storm has been meandering over an area of the Atlantic currently ~85.4°F -- 1.5°F ABOVE average for early July.

Climate change has made this kind of ocean heat at least 5x more likely.

Ultimately, I believe National Parks are places for people to change their relationship with nature.

No park can balance preservation, access, conservation, and education, but if a park does even ONE of these things, it gets us to think about nature as more than un-extracted commodities.
