It's fucked they don't have this on streaming anywhere, they really don't care about preserving art anymore

Doodled a bit high on THC and I don't think it helped in any way but here's a part of the page I don't hate

I'll post the whole page, friends said these doodles were good

Just watched The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie (2024). Doesn't reach the sublime heights of classic Looney Tunes but it's got the right spirit and the love the Duck character still. Feels old fashioned in a refreshing way. I give it a thumbs up 👍

Been dressing up like a wolf a lot over the weekend, been a positive experience

Just watched Bad Boys (1995), not very deep but that classic Bruckheimer production style with some wonderful early Bayhem action is pretty easy to enjoy imo

More somewhat mindless doodling

Doodling in bed is a fine way to start the day

Bought a cheap notebook for low-stakes doodling

Watched Bullet Ballet (1998). Very brutal crime thriller, basically a movie about how urban gang violence is fun and sexy, especially if you have a gun. Quite good. It's by the same guy who did Tetsuo: The Iron Man (1989) so you know what this movie's about

Thought about those old literacy endorsement posters in like school libraries and was inspired to doodle my own

Watching Five Nights At Freddy's 2 (2025) and it's like an AI generated Spirit Halloween ad it's unbelievable. More entertaining than the first film!

Just watched Five Nights at Freddy's (2023). The filmmaking is a string of cliches and the whole dream thing makes no sense. I'm not above video game trash. When I was a kid I had those Resident Evil movies, that shit's awesome. This one is pretty lame. Gonna watch the sequel later today anyway lol

Saw this on the tl, taking it because I'm bored and alone

made a comic about depression

Just watched Robots (2005). Looks pretty impressive for a 21 year old CGI film, the actual movie is just whatever, mildly cute at best, pretty banal mostly

Rewatched Tokyo Drifter (1966), very cool and colourful Yakuza drama, our titular drifter hero has to navigate a world where old school honor clashes with the new ruthlessness of business interests, mainly thru awesome shoot em up sequences in crazy sets. He has an awesome theme song too!
January 14, 2026 at 12:12 AM
Just watched Duel to the Death (1983), classic wuxia shit, colorful, violent exhilarating
January 13, 2026 at 2:44 AM
friends say it works better without the dialogue, i'll let you decide

RIP Béla Tarr. No one else could do it like him. His films feel like the only worthy monuments for our upcoming apocalypse. A genuine legend of cinema gone today.
