That's a damn shame. I lived up there for a while with a girlfriend, but moved back when we broke up. I honestly long for a world where I didn't.

Yeah that's the express pool. Right now though, most of the other options like skilled self-employed worker visas are backlogged for years.

They have a ridiculous and strict point system. If you want to be queer and flee to Canada, you'd better:
- Be under 40
- Not have children
- Make 100k+ per year
- Have an advanced degree
