European Commission decided to send reasoned opinions to Belgium, Estonia, Croatia, Poland and Slovakia for failing to submit final updated National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) which were due by 30.06.2024. They have now 2 months for submission.

The power systems of the Baltic States successfully disconnected from IPS/UPS system on Saturday at 09.09 AM. The separation of the Baltic electricity systems from IPS/UPS had no impact on consumers, the systems are stable and secure.

Up to 60 GW of smaller installations might be controllable by unencrypted Radio Ripple Control telegrams. If those would be simultaneously instructed (difficult) to cause a maximum imbalance, it could drive the system over the edge.
