We fully assume this decision, because security in the Arctic and at the outer edges of our Europe is at stake. No intimidation or threat will influence us -neither in Ukraine, nor in Greenland, nor anywhere else in the world when we are confronted with such situations. Tariff threats are unacceptable and have no place in this context. Europeans will respond in a united and coordinated manner should they be confirmed. We will ensure that European sovereignty is upheld. It is in this spirit that I will engage with our European partners.

Timoleague Friary was built in the 13th century on top of a much older early Christian site founded by the patron saint of honey and beekeepers, Molaga. The village gets its name from the friary, not the other way around; Timoleague (Teach Molaga) means "the house of Molaga". Grand evening for it.

This is the intricate action of a Synchronome electric clock, the most accurate pendulum clocks ever made. They were being produced in London about 100 years ago and this one ended up a grandfather clock my grandfather built. It produces an incredibly distinctive set of clunks and clacks and zaps.

The heartbreaking "girl in the red coat" scene from Schindler's list The image itself is a black and white frame in what remains of the ghetto.
