Bought a 512GB Samsung OEM SSD from AliExpress, installed it in a Broadwell Xeon system, fwupdmgr notified me that I have a Dell firmware upgrade for the SSD available from LVFS. Installed it, works perfectly still.

Something I think I see a lot in what I assume is AI generated twatwaffle is constructions like "it's not (just) _____, it's ______". Not sure if it's actually meaningful or if I am seeing a pattern that doesn't exist because I am already biased against the AI generated crap.

Made myself a WiFi to Ethernet bridge using OpenWrt and EoIP talking to a RouterOS device, seems to function at the very least.

Was going to use one of my home servers to render a 40000 by 40000 block Minecraft map using Minecraft Overviewer, was going to take 36 hours, and made the server use 280 watts with a processor temp of 78 deg C. Think I won't be letting that complete.

Apparently SR-IOV does not work though those PCIe switches used to attach multiple NVME drives when your motherboard does not support bifurcation.
