Again, there is no plan for running our universities without federal funding, or foreign students, at scale. But the public has no idea about this because no. one. is. telling. them. this. They expect their kids are still going to be able to do all the things at college in the next 4 years, & well:
The entire business model of R1 public universities rests on 4 revenue sources:
1. Federal grants
2. Private gifts/endowments
3. Tuition (esp. from foreign students)
4. State $
For decades, 📈 in 1-3 offset a secular 📉 in 4. Now, 1 & 3 are being decimated & 4 ain't coming back. The math is clear.

This seems more like a criticism of government corruption - Kushner making policy decisions affecting the Saudis while receiving $2 billion in personal money from them. MUbe tangentially criticizing is having relations with Saudis at all, which: valid (1/2)

The dismantling of USAID and cuts to foreign aid will result in hundreds of thousands of additional deaths from HIV. This administration has done more to ensure more deaths as a result of HIV this year than the Reagan administration ever caused.

An admission that the gov agency that to "cut waste, fraud, and abuse" ended up not saving the any money and the agency ending up *costing the government money: While ending many programs like USAID that helped millions of people.
Political foes couldn't have dreamed up a worse indictment of them.
