I really haven't done any life updates on here. Guess I should update:
New job: has been an emotional destresser. It's been a relief.
Relationship: Just Lion and I. When the former other halves decide to not communicate then drop a bomb, you don't really tell people it's over. You just..go silent.

I started EMDR in therapy yesterday and it was so facinating to me. It took two puzzle pieces that never fit before, flipped them around a few times and then popped them into place, side by side. It was a wild sensation.

Today, I put in my two week notice. I'm moving from animal reception to human mental health reception. This is a necessary change for me. I cannot have another animal pass in my arms or have another old lady hug me for being so kind during her pet's passing.

It took 8 months.
He'll be working nights and weekends
So he's still looking, but it's better than nothing.

When people talk about how terrible the job market is, they're understating it. Lion had two amazing interviews for a company. Insanely confident interviews. Only for the company to decide to hire "from within" which was never explained previously to anyone.
