Again that's not what the true Conservatives are about. I don't agree with a lot of their positions, but the #GOP today, the ones who fit your description, aren't conservatives.

Also, holding the line is so critical here because caving shows the Republicans that their strategy of inflicting public pain will work! They'll do it again! It's rewarding the bad behavior. It's literally why it's US Gov't policy not to negotiate with terrorists or pay ransoms.

We have to be careful about this statement. I think this is how Trump won. His people had valid votes tossed. I showed up in person. My vote wasn’t counted. I called my local dem office. Crickets. I called the FBI, DOJ and a few of my senators. Crickets.
