They really could've put our tax dollars in a bunch of paper bags and lit them on fire in downtown DC to melt the snow-ment. That would've been a better use of our money than these dumbass commercials (so far I've counted 3 that are prob paid for by the federal govt).

The gov't has zero credibility and should be treated as such ("different accounts" gives them too much credit). They want us/media in a "debate" of the facts so that less are talking abt impact and response. Their lies are both strategic (shape the public discourse) and tactical (shift blame).

If we ever come out of **this**, I hope every person with any culpability in the terror fed law enforcement is imposing on our communities gets prosecuted and thrown in jail. I'd like to sue carryout restaurants that allow you to order online, provide you a pick-up time, and then don't start to prep your order until you arrive. The pick-up time is literally false advertising. This might be my origin story as a plaintiffs class action lawyer.
