Endwalker is a can of worms best left unopened but on the whole I really enjoyed it. As a whole, I stress.

Heavensward has a more engaging story than Stormblood, but Stormblood just had more… everything else.

I think Dawntrail being so high is, while the story is all over the place and tries to cram too much in, this has been the most fun I’ve had with the game since playing catch up. They finally made zones I find interesting, and the dungeons and raids are some of the most fun since Stormblood.

Like 5.3 knocked the whole damn thing out of the park so I’ve never expected the game to hit that level of peak again, but that’s fine. Everything after that is a fun bonus.
