Don't think I've ever played elite or at most watched a friend play it. Did get caught up in the hype for frontier on the Amiga. Got it and didn't have a clue what to do so went back to playing swos

I got into the spectrum a little later so most of the older full price games were getting budget releases. Was still lucky enough to get the odd full price release but felt like no point as had budget re releases and quality original budget stuff
