Retired HT. Helping out where I can. The whole system needs rethinking. One size fits all has marginalised many. SEND has to be front & centre.

A very clear article on the MMR vaccine, the extensive research showing that there is no link with autism and why vaccination for measles is so important ⬇️
I feel so frustrated that we are in a situation where needless research that fuels vaccine hesitancy and has already been done extensively could happen- my take on the call to reopen MMR vaccines and autism research- TL: there is NO link 🧪
We need to talk about measles vaccines…. Again.

I see three distinct phases. Pre-Fox, when opinion was diverse but actual facts were indisputable.
Fox/Trump, where objective truth was subjected to the false equivalence of ‘alternative facts’ (ie lies).
And now, where media & tech platform owners collude with him to drown out the truth altogether.

On James McAtee, who took a chance long overdue. The fans who chanted his name might be irritated by Guardiola reeling off a list of McAtee's generation who've all left and thrived. Perhaps it's too late to persuade him his future is in Manchester. Hopefully not

We can’t fix the SEND crisis until we ask the question. What system are we trying to include children into ? For yrs it’s been all about making everyone the same. Squeezing everyone through the same door.Tests. No room for difference,no recognition of trauma & no honesty that it’s not working.
