I specifically try to buy plastic free clothing and its genuinely really fucking hard to do since not only is it super shitty and polluting, it also doesn't hold up well at all. I just wish there were more selvage jeans companies that made feminine cuts and lower hip cuts (high waisted jeans hurt)

I see a lot of people saying that a person charged with a crime deserves the chance to prove their innocence.

Please stop doing this because you have it backwards and this is really important.

It is ALWAYS the government's burden to prove a person guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

The Harrell campaign sending a mailer to everyone in the lake city area inviting people to a local cafe and then proceeding to spell the name of that cafe incorrectly is really just overall indicative of the quality of his leadership.

When i was 13 i got hit in a cross walk with a walk light by a driver turning right on red. I looked at him and it was an older guy and he flipped me off! I was ok and just walked away. Wasnt worth it to me to fight with the guy.

There was a point when i was volunteering to do calls for a campaign where i realized we are just calling people and endlessly asking for money to go through act blue and whatever credit card processors fee exists there and coupled with seeing consultant fees in the filings my brain melted.

I went through financial filings on a bunch of the 2020 fail candidates and it was so horrifying. Like endless cash spent on media outside the voting area and not on on the ground door knocking volunteer support which is the gold standard for actual vote getting.

I brought it up with my GP the other day and she basically said because it goes from routine screening to uh diagnostic is why kaiser permanente doesnt fully cover it in full as well and all i can think is just - god women's healthcare sucks so bad lol.

That's so damn frustrating. I sent an email with the corrected information and im hoping that will be it since i assume it was just an innocent mistake and lack of proof reading but like - this kind of shit could easily result in people dying down the line.

My husband pointed out to me that most people probably never read the clinician notes at all and i cant imagine how many people just have totally wrong slop in there that will eventually be fed into the slop machine future and create sloppier slop.

Make sure to read your clinical notes in your chart after your visit online if you can and verify it actually has accurate information in it. As AI slop leaks deeper and deeper into the crevices of healthcare, it becomes riskier and riskier

My dr for the first time in like 8 yrs of seeing her asked if she could use a transcription app and i said yeah sure not thinking about it. Looking at my post visit clinical notes, it was almost certainly some sort of AI transcription tool and it slopped totally random meds into my chart. cool.
