Every time a child gets a hold of the laughing jack-o'-lantern I resolve to take the batteries out but then I never do. It's remarkable how it's lasted at least 8 years without my ever changing them out, I think it runs on irritation

Yesterday there was actually Vince Guaraldi Christmas music playing at the store and it was so refreshing to hear I would've stayed longer except they kept interrupting every 30 seconds for "buy more now" announcements

Read through Bakuretsu Hunters again after... 15 years probably? Scans of the old Tokyopop license so quality... varied greatly, to say the least. I was impressed with the localization in several parts, though translation itself was hit or miss.

There's an episode in Blackadder 3 where Edmond uses made-up words to convince Samual Johnson that he's missed stuff from his dictionary. I have been using these same words in work meetings and reports for decades without ever being challenged on their authenticity.

So you can't actually uninstall the "local ai manager for m*crosoft 365" that automatically runs even if you're not using c*pilot but turns out you can just delete the whole folder named AI without any issue and bonus, it makes Word load up faster

Okay, discovered why the washing machine says to clean out the auto detergent/softener dispenser occasionally. I haven't since... ever... and it was okay! But machine started beeping irritably at me this morning and when I checked, the softener dispenser was full of goop. Detergent is okay though
