However, the trauma he suffered due to participating in the Colony Destruction Operation caused him to lose all use of the Newtype powers he once possessed. Jamil made contact with the first newtype, "D.O.M.E.", at the Lunar Base. Learning the truth of newtypes from D.O.M.E. finally freed him from the curse of his guilt. He typically expressed an aversion to piloting Mobile Suits due to war trauma, but eventually overcame it to pilot the Gundam X Divider and other suits.

115. i hired this jamil to stare at you. i think it's interesting that some of these game images of jamil have his outfit in different shades of blue than how it actually looks on the cel and in the blu-ray release. i prefer the show coloring but this isn't a bad look either
