find a way to make a connection between what's happening in the text and what's happening now even if it's as low stakes as "oh that person's joking in their tweet" but it should also make you act on "hey this that's happening is really fucking bad"

again, i am autistic. i am hyperlexic. i was reading at a college level by 4th grade. i do struggle with understanding tone over text sometimes and sometimes i do need clarification. expecting tone indicators on EVERYTHING is egregious, please actually learn to read
