Any and all errors in my posts are intentional, actually

Anyone who wears Punisher paraphernalia marks themselves as a sicko at best and an absolute fascist pervert at worst

I would walk into Hell backwards for any anime that ends like this.

Started the One Piece RPG I got for cheap from the Steam sale because I enjoy hanging out with my pirate friends :-)

I always, always remember this line when I hear those awful tech people speak

I only read it this year and hell yes it's up there (also lol to the afterword in the big deluxe edition with Miyazaki saying he's not good at comics)
magnumt.bsky.social
Miyazaki's true magnum opus is the war story with the aerial dogfights and monsters

every ai bro who has reduced miyazaki to empty gentle aesthetic should no exaggeration get the judas cradle bc this man's markmaking & passion about telling WAR STORIES
three panels from the nausicaä manga depicting ohmu & giant insects

It's the Yakuza/Like A Dragon game that's mostly all that dumb side stuff the series is best known for (as opposed to the actual gangster movie-style plots) but it still hits you with the proper emotional parts by the end. Good stuff, Ryu Ga Gotoku studio remains a winner

Finished Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Japan. Damn, Madlantis truly is crazy, as is the rest of the game

I considered buying that book, what with being on the Bitmap Books mailing list and all that, but damn I'm glad I didn't drop the money on it
takamomchi.bsky.social
alright gonna put myself out there a little bit

oh my lord I do believe I regret purchasing a book. i am not done and I intend to read far more of it to finish judging it but I'm already pretty upset.

If only I was born in the right culture that would pay me big bucks for my most dogshit opinions

Woman with actual blood on her hands Bari Weiss was created by the New York Times, as so many other actual ghouls and demons

This is rich coming from the propaganda rag that's home to all the absolute freaks that cry about being cancelled when someone calls them out for sharing their absolutely repellent thoughts

wtf is wrong with these people
NYT: A Campaign to 'Bring Back Bullying'

On social media, some are arguing that bullying deserves a second look. Trolling or not, the push seems to reflect a general turn away from sensitivity.

It's worth accelerating the climate catastrophe for this

NEW: People are generating Sora 2 videos of famed physicist Stephen Hawking being horribly brutalized in terrible ways -- no matter how bad you thought OpenAI's guardrails were, I guarantee they're worse

People Are Making Sora 2 Videos of Stephen Hawking Being Horribly Brutalized
People are using OpenAI's Sora 2 to generate videos of theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking being brutalized in ghoulish ways.

She should tell us how her former (?) tolerates Ghandi type figures

It'd be still far more respectable than his smashing his hands on the keyboard to shit out his repellant ideas

The people doing such useful labour are worthy of applause, as opposed to the commentariat imbeciles who are worthy only of society's constant scorn and disgust

If only Fatty was cancelled to the point that forced him to do something actually useful for society like plucking turds from sewage with his bare hands

That dipshit's Concord video popped up in my Youtube recommendations and that username/avatar combo alone was enough to make me go for a hard no.

I enjoyed my couple of hours with the demo and would like to continue it, but pay 70 Eurodollars for the privilege? Ehhhhh I'll just wait for a sale.
magnumt.bsky.social
Trying out the demo for the new Digimon RPG and I like how its protagonist uses a flip phone that turns into a gun that shoots weird critters into the world

But hey those electronics hold the promise of putting everyone out of work for a couple of years so who's to say if they're good or bad
magnumt.bsky.social
At least building a cathedral leaves you with a nice building with beautiful stained glass and excellent acoustics that will stand the test of time; a datacentre is just a big room filled with electronics that start decaying as soon as they're turned on
smolrobots.bsky.social
You know, it reminds me of medieval cathedrals at this point. Huge edifices that took literal generations to complete, a vast investment of resources: time, materials, money, even lives. All for the glory of god, because people thought (as they always do) they were living in the End Times.

OpenAI’s planned data centers will use more power than New York City & San Diego use at their peak consumption, combined. More power than the entire nations of Switzerland & Portugal combined. And San Altman’s buddies in this administration have been cutting all of our energy infrastructure upgrades

That or their being pigs means they ultimately respect ICE and the fascism it represents
