Political reforms which would set us on a path towards a new system which don’t require a constitutional amendment:

- Proportional representation in the House with RCV in the Senate
- Expanding the Supreme Court and limiting its power
- Abolishing the filibuster
- Adding DC and PR as states

Abolish the senate. A vote for senate in Wyoming is 80 times more powerful than a vote for senate in California.
The Senate is certainly not “one person one vote”.

Here's one of my bubble plots. Voters arrayed in terms of their economic and cultural attitudes split by party and by education. Note that in the left bloc, the educational divide is vertical (high ed = less socially cons) but in right bloc it's horizontal (high ed = more economically cons). 4/n

Flood the zone:
- Impeachment in '27
- Beginning in '29 - 1st 90 days:
- SCOTUS expansion
- Repeal most of POTUS' statutory prerogatives
- DC and PR* statehood
- Proportional representation for multipartyism in enlarged House

Then nuke the Imperial Presidency for good in the constitution

Yes, we should all hold our nose and vote for the lesser evil, but also f you want to GTVO, we all should stop calling our base silly and childish.

Don’t get me wrong. I held my nose and voted for the democrat at every step. I kept my protest voting to the primaries.

The other side had agency too. Stanning a genocide was easily preventable.

Idk. It took them a while to realize that they and their coalition partners were leaking votes irreparably? Guessing based on medium.com/3streams/pro...
Proportional representation in New York City did not “boost” the Left
And it wasn’t a system of proportional representation, anyway

Tbh, if the US had proportional representation, we’d probably something similar (fusion voting already sorta exists in New York)
