I'm going to be so real: this outlook is the healthiest possible one to have with 90% of life, IMO. ESPECIALLY personal things like queerness and identity.

There's lots I personally don't really get but it doesn't cost or harm me even a little bit to go "sure, man, if it makes you happy" and go

one of my most durable political lessons out of Occupy is: not only is it a bad look to instruct people at protests you are not part what to do based on posts online, it’s bad tactics to order around people with local experience and who are doing countless things you won’t know about from posts

Miyazaki survived the bombing of Utsunomiya as a child. His family escaped in a car, but left a neighbor and her daughter behind to save themselves. Miyazaki regrets this, and said this has stayed with him and shaped his film making. He hopes his audience will learn the courage he lacked in 1945.
