there's people freaking out about Kris vs Bayne being announced for tonight (a small minority, I know) without a build and tbh, I don't really care because I like to see wrestling first in my wrestling company. Not to mention, they can just run it back at Revolution. #wrestlesky #AEWDynamite

when people speak of 2021 being great, they specifically mean Kenny Omega as World Chanpion and post-All Out with the debuts. 2021 has the same amount of flops (or maybe even more) as future years, but the highs are very high, admittedly. nostalgia is a funny thing.
I don't know what rubs me the wrong way more, people who clearly didn't watch enough AEW in 2024 saying that TK's booking was absolutely awful and the worst it's ever been which is objectively wrong, or people misremembering what AEW was in 2021 thinking it was this perfect company who never >>

So true, that other app constantly feels like you are being gaslighted when you enjoy an AEW show. So much complaining, doomposting, and dishonest discourse for engagement. It started to suck the enjoyment out of the medium for me, and I just won't have that.
I’ve been a wrestling fan for 18 years & have only publicly shared my opinions for the past 2.
I think a lot of discourse comes from people not being able to discern what they love from what will make them popular. If you’re not confident in YOUR opinions, you’ll sway wherever the IWC wind blows.
